UNIPMA and ISPSCC Collaboration Organize International Teaching Lecturer Workshop 

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) and Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) have successfully organized an international teaching faculty collaboration for three consecutive days, from July 15-17, 2024. This activity was carried out online through the platform via Zoom.

The workshop was attended by 50 lecturers from both universities, there were three main talks in this event, namely Dr. Fitra Pinandhita, M.Pd (Head of UNIPMA Language Center), Sri Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd (Head of Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau), and Dr. Noel L. Llamar (Head of REC and DevCom lecturer at ISPSC).

Dr. Fitra Pinandhita, M.Pd provided material by discussing strategies for building and supporting international virtual classes. The material he presented was entitled “Build & Supportive Strategy in International Virtual Class.”

Mrs. Sri Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd presented material on multimodal integration in teaching international virtual classes. This material was titled “Multimodal Integration in Teaching International Virtual Class.”

Then, Dr. Noel L. Llamar discussed the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning and assessment. The title of his presentation was “Application of AI to Learning and Assessment.”

On the first and second day, the workshop focused on the topics of English Medium Instruction (EMI), Multimodal Integration, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). While on the third day, a Demo Teaching session was held where participants could practice what they had learned during the previous two days.

This event is expected to increase the competence of lecturers in teaching international classes, as well as strengthen cooperation between Universitas PGRI Madiun and Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College.
