Universitas PGRI Madiun celebrated the historic momentum of National Education Day with a ceremony held with great enthusiasm in the front yard of the Integrated Laboratory on Thursday, May 2, 2024, attended by the entire academic community.

In a meaningful atmosphere, students, lecturers, and staff of Universitas PGRI Madiun gathered to celebrate diversity, excellence, and dedication to the world of education. They uniformly wore the proud black and white batik-themed uniforms with the PGRI emblem. This unity symbolized the spirit of togetherness and commitment to continuously improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

The main event was the flag-raising ceremony, followed by the reading of the Pancasila text as the nation's moral foundation. It was then followed by an inspirational speech from the ceremony's leader.

National Education Day (HARDIKNAS) is a national day designated by the Indonesian government to commemorate the birth of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, a pioneering figure in Indonesian education and the founder of the Taman Siswa educational institution, observed annually on May 2nd.
