On February, Universitas PGRI Madiun held an event “Launching Universitas PGRI Madiun”. Universitas PGRI Madiun is a combination between IKIP PGRI Madiun, STT and STIE Dharma Iswara Madiun. The events have been held with great fanfare. On February 25, 2017, UNIPMA travels from Madiun-Ponorogo-Magetan Ngawi-Caruban-Madiun in order to promote and to introduce UNIPMA to the society. A groundbreaking ceremony for the manufacture of Pharmaceutical Laboratory building located near GOR Cindekia, was held on the next day, Februari 28th 2017. It was continued by the Launching event of Universitas PGRI Madiun.  This event was held on Graha Cendekia Universitas PGRI Madiun. 

Still as a series of launching UNIPMA, in the evening there was a special performance from “Kotak Band”. Through meet and greet sessions, one of the “Kotak Band” personnel, Tantri expressed her hopes for UNIPMA "Hopefully students of UNIPMA will be a helpful people toward society and be successful, do not forget to devote to the lecturers as educators". The Concert of “Kotak Band” gain tremendous enthusiasm from the audience. In addition to the performance of the kotak band, the audience was also treated by students of UNIPMA from keroncong music, traditional and contemporary dance, and many other performances. Hopefully, in the future UNIPMA can be a good university that always smart and competitive.
