Practitioner Lecture, PGSD Turns Cooking Oil Waste into Laundry Soap and Candles 

Right in the Graha Cendekia Hall, University of PGRI Madiun, the PGSD Study Program in semesters IV A and IV E is currently carrying out a lecture activity. Monday, 12 June 2023.

This activity is a form of a practitioner's lecture with the supporting lecturer Dr. Endang Sri Maruti, M.Pd. He is a lecturer in Scouting Education courses.

Presenting Practitioner Lecturer, Sunarni or commonly known as Kak Narny, the PGSD Study Program seeks to foster creativity by turning waste cooking oil into soap and candles.

That's because the staple materials used include it. In this practitioner's lecture, the students totaling 60 people, were divided into 12 groups.

Each group made 4 to 5 pieces of soap and candles as practical practice for this lecture. Later, the students are encouraged to utilize the waste cooking oil to turn it into laundry soap and candles.

Remember, the manufacturer uses fire and burns the material. So the place of manufacture is carried out openly. Indeed Scouting Education courses, this practitioner lecture is also a form of implementing the basic values ​​and principles of scouting.

To produce a generation of educators who are creative, innovative, and competitive in the future. The advantage of this practitioner lecture is that students get not only material but also meaningful experience.
