To Improve Digital Skills and Literacy, UNIPMA Provides Canva Training for Teachers of SDN 1 Sidolaju

In the 21st century teachers must develop digital literacy, especially in creating learning media. This requires skills in utilizing existing technology, for this reason, as part of the Tri dharma of higher education, the PGRI Madiun University Service Team (UNIPMA) consisting of Dedy Richi Rizaldy, M.Pd., Risqi Husaeni, M.Pd, Vivi Insafvilla and Sulistiana Pujilestari held training to improve skills and digital literacy through Canva media at SDN 1 Sidolaju, Widodaren District, Ngawi Regency.

"Technological developments require teachers to be more creative in presenting learning materials so that learning is not monotonous and more diverse. For this reason, through this Abdimas team, Unipma wants to contribute to society, especially teachers at SDN 1 Sidolaju by providing insight into knowledge about the importance of digital literacy skills in learning in schools in the 21st century." Said Dedy Richi Rizaldy, M.Pd.

In this activity, teachers are taught how to create a Canva account and how to maximize the features in it so that it can be used as an interesting and effective teaching medium.

In addition, the benefits of this activity are expected to have an impact on learning, including teachers can find out how to make learning media more creative so that learning can be more creative and not monotonous, and it is hoped that changes can be created from ordinary learning to be more interesting and fun.

"Through this Canva training activity it is hoped that it can improve teachers' digital literacy skills and can add to the diversity of learning media to motivate students' learning," said Mochidin, a teacher at SDN 1 Sidolaju.
