The Madiun City Regional Revenue Agency (BAPENDA) together with the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Presentation of Academic Analysis Study Results, Monday (21/11/2022).

This activity aims to provide empirical evidence related to the policy of establishing the mayor's regulation regarding the rental value of the new advertising tax scheme, analysis of the market potential for advertisement tax and the application of East Java PERGUB regulation No 2 of 2022 concerning Changes in Groundwater Acquisition Value (NPA), groundwater tax on taxpayers City of Madiun and provide regulatory recommendations and synchronization between public services, rental rates and strategies to achieve targets.

The event was opened by the Chancellor of UNIPMA who was represented by the Deputy Chancellor for Research and Innovation Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd followed by remarks from the Head of Regional Tax Management for the City of Madiun, Ms. Yayak Muflihana Hanik, S.I.Kom.

As for the FGD, there were three review teams, including Team 1, chaired by Heidy Paramitha Devi, M.Si, Team 2, chaired by Dr. Apriyanti, M.M and Team 3 chaired by Nurul Kusuma Dewi, M.Sc.

While the results of the study stated that the rental value of advertisements had been approved, then a study was carried out on the guidelines for implementing advertisements (starting from road classification, technical regulations regarding the dismantling of unauthorized billboards) and the imposition of groundwater value tariffs based on PERGUB East Java No. 2 Year 2022 concerning the Basic Price of Water as the basis for calculating the Acquisition Value of Groundwater, it needs to be mutually agreed upon by the authorized OPD, how it is enforced in the City of Madiun.

Also present at the FGD were Mrs. Yayak Muflihana Hanik, S.I.Kom (Head of Regional Tax Management and staff), Representatives of Regional Government Organizations (DPMPTSPKUM Service, PUPR Service, Perkim Service, Satpol PP, Service), Head of LPPM UNIPMA Dr. Fida Chasanatun, M.Pd and staff, as well as the UNIPMA Academic Analysis Study Team, from the Study Programs S1 Accounting, S1 Management, S1 Law, S1 Biology Education, D3 Tax Management.
