Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) in collaboration with PT. Tanama Persada Nusantara organizes the Google Career Certificates-IT Support Scholarship Program for students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program and the Information Systems Study Program. This program is expected to be able to provide international competency certificates for students at the Faculty of Engineering to be ready to face the world of work in the field of Information Technology.

In addition, students who pass the competency test and are declared competent will receive an international competency certificate from Google Career Certificates which can be used as a portfolio in the Certificate of Companion Certificate (SKPI).

Deputy Dean 1 of the Faculty of Engineering, Slamet Riyanto, ST., MM. explained that the Google Career Certificates-IT Support activity is expected to add to the learning experience for students to participate in training and international competency certification tests.

“In addition, students will get a competency certificate from the Google Career Certificates-IT Support Scholarship Program with international standards. With the implementation of this program, the Faculty of Engineering will be stronger in building cooperation with the industrial world, so that the link & match with the industrial world for learning experience activities will be easier to carry out.” Obviously.

He added that this program is also a form of implementation of teaching practitioner activities, where the Google Career Certificates-IT Support Scholarship Program also involves practitioners from the industrial world who are competent in the field of information technology.
