The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) was again given a new mandate to produce professional teacher candidates through the Pre-service Teacher Professional Education (PPG) Phase 1 of 2022.

Of course, this is welcomed by the entire academic community considering that not all universities in Indonesia are given the mandate to carry out PPG activities.

Pre-service PPG activities in 2022 began with an Academic Orientation activity which was held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, which took place at the UNIPMA Cendekia Graha Building. Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd. as the Dean of FKIP UNIPMA gave a report on orientation activities. The number of PPG Pre-Services Batch 1 2022 students is 233 students, namely the fields of study for Elementary School Teachers, Science, Indonesian Language, and Biology.

On that occasion he gave extraordinary appreciation to all students who have been officially declared to be PPG Pre-service students in 2022. Of course, the struggle of students to pass the selection is not easy, they have to follow various selections starting from administration, Competency Test Tests and interview selection.

This was followed by remarks from the Chancellor of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. and Chairman of PPLP PT PGRI Madiun, Drs. H. Imam Sujudi. The activity continued with the presentation of the material presented by each resource person, namely Dr. Ibadullah Malawi, M.Pd., (submission of the Pre-service PPG curriculum design for 2022 category 1) Dr. Hendra Erik Rudyanto, M.Pd. (LMS explanation) and Octarina Hidayatus Solikhah, M.Pd. (campus introduction). Through the academic orientation activities that have been carried out, it is expected to provide an overview for students about the activities that will be carried out during the PPG learning process.
