UNIPMA FKIP Lecturers Implement LPTK Lecturer Partnership Program with Teachers at School 

One Lecturer of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), namely Dr. Wasilatul Murtafiah, M.Pd. declared graduated as one of the participants in the partnership program between LPTK lecturers and school teachers in 2022.

This program is an effort of the Directorate of Resources, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to provide opportunities for LPTK Lecturers to partner with schools as graduate users, find innovative learning models/patterns, improve research and publications and increase the participation of LPTK lecturers and students in developing learning.

This activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 7 Madiun City with the permission of the Principal Rini Hastuti, S.Pd., M.Pd as well as the activity supervisor. One of the objectives of this program is to improve and improve the quality of learning in schools.

Coinciding with Thursday, (25/8/2022) Dr. Wasilatul Murtafiah, M.Pd. together with Eni Widiningsih, S Pd., a partner teacher in Mathematics from SMP Negeri 7 Madiun City, and accompanied by 3 other partner teacher observers, namely, Yusma Ria Zulaicha, S.Pd., Emi Munawaroh, S.Pd., and Siti Nurul Syamsiyah, S.Pd., and four students of the UNIPMA mathematics education study program as observers conducted an Open Class (open class) Lesson Study activity in class VII G SMP Negeri 7 Madiun City.

In implementing this program, partner teachers who become model teachers carry out Lesson Study activities in four stages, namely: lesson design, plan, do, see, and redesign. The stages of these activities are carried out in collaboration between model teachers and observers (other partner teachers and partner lecturers).

Eni Widiningsih, S Pd., a partner teacher in Mathematics from SMP Negeri 7 Madiun City, revealed that the implementation of the open class was in accordance with the plan. But it does not rule out the possibility of changes in the field. “It turns out that when we are on the field there are many differences. In my opinion, the basic material of the distribution, students are still having difficulties, so that in the process of working there were obstacles, “said Eni, while reflecting after the open class implementation.

He also hopes that this program will further improve the quality of learning, have a very positive effect on schools, teachers who implement the program can transmit it to other teachers.
