To Boost Sales of Powdered Herbs, UNIPMA Abdimas Team Provides Packaging Equipment Assistance for the Herbal Medicine Business Group "Jahe Sribu" in Bulu Village, Sukomoro, Magetan 

The industrial engineering study program at the Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) implemented a community service grant funded by UNIPMA's LPPM (research and community service institution) which was to provide assistance in packaging herbal powders for the herbal medicine business group "Ginger Sribu" in Bulu village, Sukomoro district, Magetan district.

The Abdimas activity was chaired by Aan Zainal Muttaqin, S.T., M.T., IPP and consisted of Doni Susanto, S.Pd., M.Pd., Erny Untari, S.Pd., M.Pd. and these 2 students were held for 3 days, namely on August 23-25, 2022.

The head of the community service team, Aan Zainal Muttaqin, S.T., M.T., IPP said that the purpose of this activity was to improve product quality and extend the shelf life of powdered herbal products in the "ginger sribu" herbal medicine business group. "So this increases consumer confidence and ultimately increases the number of sales." he said.

In this community service activity, the Industrial Engineering Abdimas team handed over equipment assistance (packaging machines) and assistance in the use of tools (packaging machines).

The powdered herbal products produced by the herbal medicine group "Ginger Sribu" include kencur rice, turmeric tamarind, sinom, STMJ, ginger, white turmeric, turmeric, ginger, and temulawak.
