The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Madiun (FT UNIPMA) conducted a Digital Business Competency Test. The Competency Test was carried out in collaboration with the Surabaya Digital Business Professional Certification Institute (LSP) at the UNIPMA Integrated Laboratory building on Saturday, (13/8/2022).

Prior to the competency test, the signing of the MoU & MoA by the Chancellor of UNIPMA, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UNIPMA and the Director of LSP Business Digital in the Smart Classroom, UNIPMA Integrated Lab.

The Dean of FT UNIPMA, Nasrul Rofiah Hidayati, S.T., M.Pd. said that this competency test activity was attended by 60 final semester students from the Informatics Engineering and Information Systems study program.

Currently, the need for human resources who have competence in the digital business field is getting higher. However, the availability of human resources with these competencies is still limited. For this reason, FT UNIPMA provides graduates with Digital Business competencies as evidenced by a national competency certificate from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).

"This competency test scheme consists of two schemes, namely retail sales cluster certificates through digital platforms (digital retail marketing) for 40 participants and digital media planner occupation certification for 20 participants," said Nasrul.

Nasrul further revealed that the digital business competency certification test aims to equip graduates with Digital Business competencies as evidenced by a national competency certificate from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).

Nasrul hopes that UNIPMA FT graduates armed with competency certificates can make it easier for prospective UNIPMA FT graduates to get jobs in the industrial world. In addition, the Faculty of Engineering can become a Competency Test Place (TUK) on a regular basis by collaborating with Digital Business LSP, which later graduates from Engineering Faculty students will be more prepared and mature in facing the world of work or opening their own business.
