THE WINNER OF PROVINCIAL LEVEL POPULATION SPEECH CONTEST WAS ACHIEVED BY IKIP PGRI MADIUN 

Another achievement was added by the student of IKIP PGRI MADIUN, Bayu Ringgar Amista from PGSD Department sixth semester. He became the winner of Population Speech Contest under young adult category. The series of events was held in May 16, 2016 at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The speech delivered by Bayu was entitled, "The Role of Youth in Caring for the Environment Sustainability Towards Peaceful and Prosperous Indonesia”.

Before delivering the speech at UIN Sunan Ampel, there was a selection that must be passed by Bayu, namely speech selection via video at East Java level to determine the best six finalists and be able to participate in the selection in Surabaya. Bayu took a month in preparing the speech. He was helped by his friends from UKM PIK IKIP PGRI MADIUN. The speech delivered told the audience about the impact that would occur if there was a significant explosion of growth of population and efforts that the youths should do to have high quality population and reduce the rate of population in order to reduce environmental damage.

Bayu also said that he would prepare himself to the next stage of selection, namely National level selection. He hoped that he could pass the national level selection for the top ten will be invited to Jakarta. Later, the best three will be invited to meet Mr. Jokowi at the DPR/MPR building, then they will attend independence day ceremony in August 17 at the National Palace. (Div. Humas-BKHK)
