UNIPMA PGSD Lecturer Provides Assistance for the Sago Game Program (One Teacher, Three Media)

Rapid technological developments require changes in the learning process carried out by teachers. At first the teacher in teaching must have competence in aspects of subject matter and pedagogical aspects only, but as technology develops, teachers must also have competence in technological aspects. The integration of materials, pedagogy, and technology is very much needed in the form of TPACK-based learning tools (Technology, Pedagogy, and Content Knowledge).

The UNIPMA PKM (Community Service) team consisting of Fida Rahmantika Hadi, M.Pd., Liya Atika Anggrasari, M.Pd., and Endang Sri Maruti, M.Pd. have innovations as an effort to increase the creativity of teachers in developing TPACK-based learning media through the SAGU GAME (One Teacher Three Media) program. The Sago Game Program training for teachers is carried out to provide life skills in developing the creativity of elementary school teachers so that they are skilled in creating and utilizing TPACK-based learning media. This Community Service activity was attended by all teachers at SDN 03 Taman, Madiun City on Friday, 17/06/ 2022.

Pratiwi, S.Pd. as the PLT Principal at SDN 03 Taman Kota Madiun was very happy with the SAGU GAME Program activities. "We are very happy and proud that our school has received attention from the PKM PGSD UNIPMA team so that it makes us more motivated to work in developing TPACK-based learning media," he explained.

PKM team leader Fida Rahmatika Hadi, M.Pd. said, learning media has an important position in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. “Basically all learning processes are experiences, and the most effective learning processes are obtained from concrete and direct experiences. For this reason, the instructional designer must be able to choose a substitute for this experience with symbols in the form of words, both spoken and written. It is hoped that with this SAGU GAME program mentoring activity, it can train the creativity of teachers in developing interesting learning media for students, especially in the fields of literacy and numeracy.”
