UNIPMA Ranks 3 PTS Recipients of the Most Community Service Funds 2022 

Universitas (UNIPMA) is in the third rank of Private Universities (PTS) in the category oPGRI Madiun f Recipients of the Most Community Service Funding in 2022.

This year UNIPMA received a community service proposal grant of Rp. 348,800,000 to produce innovative research that is beneficial to the people of Indonesia. The announcement of Community Service Funding for Fiscal Year 2022 is carried out offline, Harsono Room 2nd Floor, LLDIKTI Regional Office. VII Jl. Dr. Ir. H. Soekarno No.177 Surabaya. Thursday (16/6/2022).

UNIPMA Chancellor, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. expressed his gratitude for the grants received by UNIPMA. He said that obtaining this grant was a good achievement and the result of hard work from various parties, especially UNIPMA lecturers who were highly committed to community service.

The Chancellor hopes that the achievement of this grant will continue to increase in the future. "Because the performance of LPPM UNIPMA is in the main cluster, it is hoped that in the future the achievement of grants can increase significantly both in quantity and quality for research activities and community service. For this reason, the UNIPMA Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) is required to continue to provide guidance and training to lecturers, considering that the average number of UNIPMA lecturers is in their productive age," Supri hoped.

Community service activities are part of the innovation service to answer the needs of the people in Indonesia. Community service by universities is defined as the institutionalized practice of science and technology through scientific methods directly to the wider community and home and small industries.

The provision of this funding is a form of government effort to increase the participation rate of lecturers and researchers in carrying out community service. It aims to succeed in development, develop people and improve the nation's competitiveness.

Through this community service funding, UNIPMA can further optimize the activities of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Based on Law No. 12 of 2012 it is stated that it is mandatory for universities to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely providing education, research and community service.
