The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a FGD (focus group discussion) to improve the quality of graduates by presenting practitioners from the world of work and industry as well as related stakeholders, Tuesday (7/6/2022) at the Integrated Laboratory Building, Campus 4 UNIPMA.

Prior to the FGD (focus group discussion), the MoA/MoU was signed. There are nine partners including PT. Rekaindo Global Jasa, PT. Refindo Inti Selaras, PG. Pagotan, PG. Poerwodadie, Madiun State Polytechnic, PT. IMSC, PT. IMSS, PT. IMST, RSI Madiun, and the Madiun Regional Forestry Service.

The MoU/MoA was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Nasrul Rofiah Hidayati, S.T., M.Pd. with related partners.

Nasrul in his speech said that collaborative steps were needed between the world of work and the world of academia to improve the quality of graduates.

"We need collaboration, how can graduates learn practical work in the industrial world, and the industrial world can give lectures to universities about whatever things are there," said Nasrul.

Related to this collaboration, the Vice Chancellor for Division IV, Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Sc., M.Pd. warmly welcome this great hope. Dr. Jeffry also hopes that this collaboration will not only bring great benefits to the Company/partners, but also to UNIPMA itself.
