Collaboration with Denkesyah, UNIPMA Implements Booster Vaccination 

Tuesday, 12 April 2022. In order to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) in collaboration with Denkesyah carried out booster vaccinations for lecturers and education staff and UNIPMA students which took place in the Integrated Laboratory Meeting Room, Monday (11/4).

 

Head of Pharmacy Installation of Denkesyah Madiun Polyclinic Apt. Desi Kusumawati, S. Farm, M. Farm-Klin. said the vaccination activity was aimed at achieving herd immunity in the Madiun community, especially at UNIPMA, both students and lecturers and education staff. "The target for yesterday's booster vaccine was 150 doses," said . Desi Kusumawati when interviewed via Whatsapp, Tuesday (12/4/22).

 

According to the Vice Chancellor for Planning, General Affairs, Resources and Finance, Dr. Marheny Lukitasari, M.Pd., in this vaccination, UNIPMA was provided with a place, PPE, IT and so on. "This vaccine is also important for students because it can strengthen the body's immunity against viruses," said Marheny Lukitasari.

 

The booster vaccine activity was held starting at 07.30 WIB - finished. The activities include registration, physical checks and blood pressure, screening, vaccination table, follow-up table after vaccination, including waste treatment. The vaccine used in this activity is Astra Zeneca.

 

One of the vaccination participants, Dhiah Larantika, S.Psi Laboratory Assistant for the Counseling Guidance Study Program, said that he had carried out this booster vaccination without any complaints. "Alhamdulillah, after the booster vaccine, there were no complaints despite fasting," said Dhiah. The hope is that with this vaccination he can increase the body's resistance to the virus.
