The UNIPMA contingent brought home 1 Gold medals, 2 Silver Medal and 1 Bronze Medal at the 2022 East Java Province Student Sports Week (POMPROV) 

Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Four sports, Women's Long Jump, Women's 400m Run, Men's Bullet Reject, and Women's Pencak Silat each won medals. The Women's Long Jump represented by Tarisha Tristania Putri, a student of the Sports Science study program, won a gold medal. Likewise, the women's 400m run, which was also represented by Tarisha Tristania Putri, resulted in a silver medal.

 

The men's shot put sport also won a silver medal, represented by Ariyanto Putro Prasetyo, a student of the Management study program. Meanwhile, the Women's Pencak Silat, represented by Alya Adelliana, a student of the Sport Science study program, won a Bronze medal. The match statistics show that the quality of the contingent from UNIPMA deserves to be taken into account at the East Java Province level.

 

When giving appreciation to the contingent's achievements, the Chancellor of UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. feel proud and grateful to all coaches, officials, and students who are truly extraordinary

 

The great athletes have played well in the East Java Pomprov in 2022, and are able to compete with students from universities from all over East Java and bring the good name of the university.

 

The achievement of 4 medals from these four sports puts UNIPMA in 15th place in medals from 125 PTS/PTN participants throughout East Java.
