Friday, December 10, 2021. Students of the Holistic Village Development and Empowerment Program (PHP2D) Organization of the Student Executive Board of the University of PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) in collaboration with the Kepel Village government as a place for implementing PHP2D to launch the Nature School. With the title "Natural School Innovation to Support the Education Literacy Culture of Kepel Village Children Towards a Generation of Broad-minded".

The establishment of this natural school is expected to increase literacy knowledge in Kepel Village children as a means of learning and playing. This activity is an effort to build a broad-minded society based on knowledge. The Nature School was formed to protect, maintain and improve knowledge literacy in Kepel village which can be managed by the village government, educational institutions, and the surrounding community.

The construction of the Natural School itself was carried out with local residents. They do the development in mutual cooperation with the PHP2D team. The construction of the Natural School took about 2 months. On the sidelines of development, there are interlude activities that are still being carried out to this day. That is, every Saturday and Sunday, the PHP2D team provides learning assistance with the children of Kepel village. This learning is varied, not only reading, writing only. But here there are also activities such as playing games, batik, drawing, character education, and traveling around the area to recognize the environment.

The Nature School itself can also be said to be a reading corner, because in that room there are also books. In order to support the development of the Natural School, the PHP2D team also created social media as a means of information on the activities of the Natural School. The social media is Instagram, some activities have been published through Instagram accounts.

Later this nature school can also be used as a means of education because nature is still awake and also the extraordinary knowledge that can be obtained there. The enthusiasm of the residents in waiting for the establishment of a natural school can also be felt by us students who really go directly to the area. "Alhamdullilah, madam, thank you for establishing a nature school in this village, especially in the teak hamlet. Because for a long time we have wanted proper educational facilities for our children," said one of the people.

At the beginning of this idea, Mrs. Suli, as the head of the RT in the Jati hamlet, also talked about the state of the children's education there. He said "For now the children are still doing the teaching and learning process at my house, ma'am, because the distance to the main school is very far from the road which is also far from good." This makes us more confident to build a character-based nature school in this village. Alhamdulillah, our prayers have been granted and made easy by Allah SWT. Hopefully this natural school can be useful and also become a reference for us as educational and non-educational students in spreading benefits in society.
