The Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) as a manifestation of the implementation of the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) policy provides a very broad experience, primarily to foster student love for the cultural diversity of their homeland and encourage the strengthening and expansion of academic competence student.

In addition, this program aims to build a sense of tolerance among students through meeting spaces formed through student exchange activities and exploration of Indonesian cultural diversity.

One of the students participating in the PMM program at UNIPMA from Sam Ratulangi University, Manado, North Sulawesi, Indri Veronika Lonteng said that it was the first time he came to Java, especially Madiun.

“Because previously I learned this program online, I am very happy to finally be able to visit Madiun City. This is my first time to Madiun,” he said.

Indri Veronika found something new when she came to Madiun, there were so many unique foods that tasted good. "One of them is pecel rice, Ma'am, the food is delicious and unique for me because I just found out that there are foods made from rice that can be collaborated with peanut sauce," said Indri when interviewed via Whatsapp (3/12/2021).

"Thank you for the very good welcome and service from the PGRI Madiun University campus, Alhamdulillah it really helped us from outside the region. Hopefully later we can explore more insights, especially on the UNIPMA Madiun campus to be able to share knowledge which we will bring later to our hometown," said the Management study program student.

Indri also hopes that the PMM Offline program can run smoothly, it can also make PMM students more understanding and understand not only the learning material provided but also be able to understand the differences that exist, so as to create an attitude of tolerance for differences that often cause division.

"I also hope that this program will always be implemented in the future and get a lot of lessons that can be obtained so that they can increase knowledge and insight," he concluded.
