Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Challenges of Business Development in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 took over most of the economic activities. In addition to driving economic growth, this trend has changed many areas of human life, including the world of work and even the lifestyle of humans themselves. Basically, the 4.0 industrial revolution combines machines, workflows and systems with intelligent network deployment throughout the process. The industrial revolution 4.0 is able to eliminate a number of types of work, but on the other hand it also presents new types of work.

Responding to these conditions, PGRI Madiun University held an online second day alumni briefing entitled "Strategies and Challenges of Business Development in the Industrial Revolution Era" on Tuesday (9/11) by presenting three speakers, Dr. Tomy Listiawan, (Director of PT Intan Cendekia), Patrisia Irdhani Anindhita (Co-Branding Wonderful Indonesia), and Saiful Islam (Telkomsel).

The activity was opened by the Vice Chancellor III UNIPMA, Drs. R, Bekti Kiswardianta, M.Pd. In his speech, he said that the entrepreneurial spirit is one of the campus's visions and missions, where the campus will try to produce intelligent students who are competitive and have an entrepreneurial spirit.

"In accordance with UNIPMA's vision and mission we provide reinforcement to prospective alumni by being given a briefing on Business Development Strategies and Challenges in the Industrial Revolution Era, besides that, students in semester 3/4 have received entrepreneurship courses, so there is already a basis for students to become entrepreneurs", he said.

Furthermore, Kiswardianta also hopes that this activity can be an inspiration for students to be a trigger to be more productive, because it is a challenge to develop a business or start a business in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0.

"Hopefully the prospective alumni can be granted by getting jobs that match their hopes of getting a future according to their aspirations," he said when opening the activity.
