Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Pride and happiness, as well as a sense of emotion surround the figure of Prof. Dr. H. Parji., M.Pd. Tuesday (19/10/2021), the Chancellor of the University of PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) received the title of the highest functional position for a lecturer.

The man who was born in Ngawi, January 6, 1967, the second son of four siblings, was officially inaugurated as a UNIPMA Professor of Social Science Education. Prof. Parji became the 1st Professor alias the first, UNIPMA Professor.

The inauguration ceremony for professors was opened by the Chair of the UNIPMA Senate, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. carried out online and offline. Offline at the Graha Cendekia UNIPMA building and online via the Zoom Meeting Application and UNIPMA live Youtube.

The figure of Prof. Parji has been very helpful in the development of campus so far. His research works are very inspiring. It is proven that during his leadership UNIPMA grew rapidly and managed to get various national level grants as well as prestigious regional and national awards such as AKU (Anugerah Kampus Unggul) from Kopertis VII East Java, PT Utama, PT Uggulan, PT Merger Best from LLDIKTI VII East Java and others.

As of December 1, 2020 Prof. Parji got a new title, Professor, Professor. Prof. track record. Parji is very inspiring for other lecturers to always be enthusiastic in achieving the title of the next Professor. Growing up in a small village in Ngawi from a simple family but growing a passionate spirit for prof. Parji to achieve his goals.

The event continued with the Scientific Orasil Inauguration of Professor Prof. Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd. entitled "Strengthening the Nation's Social Capital in the Revolutionary Era 4.0 in the perspective of Pancasila Values". Then continued with Samir's Rafting and the Giving of the Professor's Plaque to Prof. Parji by the Head of LLDIKTI Region VII East Java, Prof. Dr. Ir. Suprapto, DEA Accompanied by the Chairperson of the Unipma Senate, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.

“Achieving the highest academic position certainly makes my commitment to advancing education higher. Because a great teacher has a moral responsibility, a great academic responsibility. Besides teaching, of course, research, research and community service, I will also continue to improve book writing,” said Prof. Parji when interviewed.

The new title of Prof. Parji is also in order to provide inspiration and motivation for lecturers. “It turns out that at PTS, which are relatively small cities, with sincerity and commitment that never fades, it turns out that we can achieve the highest academic positions. I have served as a lecturer for 30 years with a spirit that never subsides, I finally achieved the achievement of this professor," he added.

In the midst of busy leading the campus and teaching, Prof. Parji took the time to research and write to produce Professor's achievements. Prof. Parji also encouraged other lecturers to become the next professor. He said this degree is not only for families, but also for campuses and the world of education in general. Hopefully it can inspire and motivate lecturers to continue working so they can get the highest academic positions.

As also in his speech the Chairman of the PPLP Foundation PT PGRI Madiun, Drs. H. Imam Sujudi said he was very proud of the emergence of a new Professor and this was the first time. With that, he invited UNIPMA lecturers to compete for the title of professor.

In the closing of the scientific oration, Prof. Parji also expressed his gratitude to all those who have motivated the achievement of this Professorship title. Finally, thank you to the late and late Mr. Mrs. Prof. Parji. "Even though I put him at the end, he is actually the most meritorious person in the journey of my life. He is the one who always teaches the importance of hard work, honesty, and truth in living life, to lead me to achieve this highest academic degree, "said Prof. Parji while shedding tears of emotion.

Furthermore, on the other hand the Mayor of Madiun, Drs. H. Maidi, SH., MM., M.Pd. when interviewed hoped that with the growth of one professor, others should immediately follow to achieve the title. Because with many great teachers this city will be more advanced in the world of education.

Head of LLDIKTI Region VII East Java, Prof. Dr. Ir. Soeprapto, DEA said there are 23,000 who have doctoral degrees and only 219 have earned professorships. “So great is the acceleration of prof. parji at UNIPMA. let's continue the good habits of Prof. Parji. East Java is a storehouse of great people, including Madiun. East Java is a benchmark for Indonesia's success. Unipma is getting more advanced, so prof parji if you can still lead unipma, congratulations to unipma, I think I am very proud, it is difficult to be a professor, and this is an extraordinary achievement.

Closing, “Today is an important day, the birth of a prophet, because of that also the birth of a great teacher, Prof. parji. I pray that God willing, everything will work out,” said Prof. Prapto, Head of LLDIKTI VII.
