Accounting Study Program Students Provide Digital Entrepreneurship Training and Briefing for MSMEs in Cileng Magetan Village 

Monday, October 11, 2021. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) during the Covid-19 pandemic are increasing in number. This makes the spearhead of the current economy, but there is still much that needs to be improved both in terms of marketing and the quality and competitiveness of each product.

With this, the PKKM Team (Independent Campus Competition Program) Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business UNIPMA held entrepreneurship training for MSMEs in Cileng Magetan Village and continued to encourage Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to be able to improve the quality and competitiveness of the products produced. and also able to market products via digital or online.

The activity was held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Cileng Village Office, Poncol District, Madiun Regency. The training was immediately opened by the Head of Accounting Study Program, M. Agus Sudrajat, S.E., M.Si, starting at 12.00 WIB until 16.00 WIB.

The person in charge of PKKM activities, M. Agus Sudrajat, SE., M.Si said that in today's modern era, MSME players can take advantage of developing technology to promote their products online through the marketplace.

"This activity is an output of the independent Campus Competition Program grant which was won from the UNIPMA Accounting Study Program and one of the activities is to provide training in economic empowerment skills for rural communities," said Agus Sudrajat.

This activity involves students who have digital entrepreneurship skills to train SMEs in the village of cileng so they can enter the virtual market.

Interestingly, this activity also collaborates with Shoppe Indonesia Partners through zoom meetings starting from creating an account at Shopee, product photos, to being able to market their products through social media, namely Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and being able to sell on Shoppe.
