Vice Chancellor III Opens PKKMB PGRI Madiun University Wave 2 

Tuesday, October 5, 2021. PGRI Madiun University (UNIPMA) held an Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) Phase II which was opened by the Vice Chancellor III for Student Affairs UNIPMA, Drs. R. Bekti Kiswardianta, M.Pd, Tuesday (5/10/2021).

This activity in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic was attended by 234 new students which took place virtually. With details of FKIP 126 students, FT 51 students, FIKS 14 students, FEB 39 students, and FH 4 students. By taking the theme of achievement during the pandemic, with the hope that even though they are still in a pandemic atmosphere, it will not prevent young scholars from achieving the best achievements, both in academic and non-academic fields.

In the report of the chairman of the PKKMB committee, Wawan Kokotiasa, S.IP., M.Si, the general purpose of implementing PKKMB is to provide debriefing for new students to adapt more quickly to the campus environment. In this activity, new students were given various materials presented by resource persons from various elements.

Among them are the Ministry of Education and Culture, PPLP PT PGRI Madiun, Rector, Dean, Head of Study Program, competent Lecturer, Ministry of Defense and BNPT. "Hopefully the materials that will be delivered by the speakers are useful and valuable for all of us," said Wawan.

Vice Chancellor III Drs. R. Bekti Kiswardianta in his speech said that the implementation of the PKKMB Phase II which took place from October 5 to October 12, 2021 had the same nuances as the implementation of the PKKMB Phase I which started on September 7 - September 12 2021 earlier. Although it takes place online, it is hoped that it will not reduce the substance to be conveyed to all new students.

"Although this activity takes place online, we can take part in PKKMB Wave 2 as a graduation requirement for later students and I hope that new students can still get to know each other and adapt quickly," he said.

UNIPMA provides a place and space for students to develop their potential. Since the first UNIPMA has shown its existence and achievements, as evidenced by this year's ranking of 101 PTN/PTS in Indonesia, and the ranking of students being ranked 48th PTN/PTS in Indonesia. "This means that the achievements of UNIPMA have been recognized by the community that together with UNIPMA can grow brilliant achievements," he added.

"By saying Bismillah, UNIPMA Phase II PKKMB for Academic Year 2021/2022 can be started. I hope this activity goes well. Let's build this campus to be better and be able to produce young scholars who are superior and with character," he concluded.

After the PKKMB Wave 2 was opened by the Vice Chancellor III, then the PKKMB participants opened the LMS pkkmb.unipma.ac.id to listen to the material and answer the quiz that had been provided by the committee in each material.
