Unipma P3D TEAM Trains PKK Karangpatihan in Making Woven Bags and Wallets 

Thursday, September 16, 2021. As an effort to participate in encouraging economic independence in Karangpatihan village, Balong District, Ponorogo Regency, East Java, students from the Scholar Entrepreneurship UKM, Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) through the Village Empowerment Development Program (P3D) of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education who are supervised by Mrs. Nasrul Rofiah Hidayati providing training on making woven vinyl bags and wallets decorated with flowers from stockings, Saturday (11/09/2021).

This activity was attended by 25 participants, from PKK women and from the manager of Rumah Harapan Karangpatihan village. During the activity, participants were given training on making woven bags and wallets that looked beautiful with flower-shaped decorations made of stockings by Ruhil Eka Rochmalisa Dewi as resource persons from PGRI Madiun University students.

The head of PKK in Karangpatihan village, Mrs. Yuli, revealed that this training was very useful for the residents of Karangpatihan village because it added insight, knowledge and skills and in the future it could encourage the economy of the Karangpatihan village community and thanked UNIPMA for the assistance provided.

The head of the UNIPMA P3D team in 2021, Moh Tajuddin Azzam Zami said "This activity aims to increase income and community welfare as well as increase business opportunities as well as increase job opportunities for the people of Karangpatihan village, Balong sub-district, Ponorogo district, East Java." he said.

The training activities that have been carried out will be continued with product commercialization assistance both online and offline so that the training carried out has an impact on improving the welfare of the Karangpatihan village community.
