Closing of PKKMB UNIPMA Academic Year 2021-2022 

Tuesday, September 14, 2021. The Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the Academic Year 2021-2022 PGRI Madiun University (UNIPMA) reached its end with the Closing of the PKKMB. The event was hosted by Sesaria Prima Yudhaningtyas, S.Pd., M.Pd. started by singing the anthem Indonesia Raya and continued with a report on the implementation of the PKKMB by the Deputy Chair of the Committee, Dr. Asroful Kadafi, S.Pd., M.Pd.

In his report said “PKKMB activities were attended by 1,106 new students. With the number of PKKMB participants who passed 1042 students, and 64 students who have not graduated. Of course, participants who have not passed will take part in the next PKKMB.” he said.

The implementation of this activity was carried out in collaboration with the UNIPMA Student Bureau and was carried out online through the pkkmb.unipma.ac.id platform. Overall, the event went smoothly according to the schedule that was planned to start on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, until today it was closed on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

This PKKMB was followed from various provinces in Indonesia. The distribution of the PKKMB UNIPMA 2021 Participating Provinces includes Prop. South Kalimantan, Prov. West Kalimantan, South Sumatra, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau Islands, NTT, NTB and Prop. South Sulawesi.

Furthermore, the remarks of the Chancellor of UNIPMA Prof. Dr. H. Parji., M.Pd. at the same time closing the UNIPMA PKKMB series. At the beginning of the speech, Prof. Parji congratulated the Young Scholars who had successfully joined the PKKMB wholeheartedly. According to him, PKKMB is a medium given by UNIPMA to prepare new students to become real young scholars.

"Congratulations, you are no longer a student but a student, an honorable status, therefore the opportunity to gain knowledge on campus is carried out wholeheartedly, so that later you become a great scholar, even though you are still in the atmosphere of the COVID-19 pandemic, it does not hinder us, especially the students. young scholars, to achieve the best achievements in academic and non-academic fields," he said.

In this time of the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, it is a challenge. “We have to adapt very quickly. Especially information technology, this is important so that we can carry out learning well.” he added.

Prof. Parji also explained that UNESCO (United Nations, Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) which is engaged in education, knowledge and culture has declared four pillars of education, namely: (1) learning to know, (2) learning to do, (3) learning to be, and (4) learning to live together. The four pillars synergistically shape and build the mindset of education in Indonesia. Also especially for young UNIPMA scholars.

Students must be able to adapt to rapid changes. Because if you want to be successful in learning, you must understand the challenges, and to be creative, productive, and innovative students, you must always think critically.

"Many studies have proven that communication skills are very important, Unipma provides foreign language skills services, so it is very strong to prepare competent human resources," he said.

As a marker of the end of the 2021 UNIPMA PKKMB activities, the Chancellor removed the PKKMB participants' signs and continued with the reading of the integrity pact by New Student representatives and continued with awarding new students with the best grades.
