Increase Legal Awareness, FH UNIPMA Holds Legal Counseling and Assistance in the Land Sector

Thursday, August 26, 2021. Land ownership disputes, especially in the regions, are still common, and even lead to conflicts. One of the reasons is the manual data collection of land ownership and the unsystematic archiving of land data.
In connection with this, the UNIPMA Faculty of Law with the Banjarejo Village Government, Ngadiluwih District, Kediri Regency, held community service in the form of Counseling and Legal Assistance in the Land Sector: Land Disputes and Solutions.
The service was carried out by the Head of the Law Faculty Study Program, Nizam Zakka Arrizal, S.H., M.Kn., the Secretary of the Law Study Program, Dimas Pramodya Dwipayana, S.H., M.H., and UNIPMA Law Faculty Lecturer Dr. Sulistya Eviningrum, S.H., M.H.
The activity was carried out online through the zoom meeting application (14/8/2021) opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Siska Diana Sari, S.H., M.H. in his speech said "Land is very closely related to everyday human life, it can even be said that every time humans are related to land, since ancient times land has been a source of dispute for humans", he said.
The existence of a fixed (limited) amount of land results in a struggle for land rights which can trigger a prolonged land dispute, even land owners are willing to sacrifice anything to defend their land.
The service activity was responded well by Muhammad Muslih, Head of Banjarejo village, Ngadiluwih District, Kediri Regency. He expressed his gratitude for the collaboration in the dedication of this UNIPMA FH lecturer to the village of Banjarejo, by giving his knowledge in the land sector: Land Disputes and Solutions.
