UNIPMA KI Center Bureau Holds Patent Potential Research Workshop 

Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Intellectual Property is the right to enjoy economically the results of an intellectual creativity. Objects that are regulated in intellectual property are in the form of works that arise or are born due to human intellectual abilities.

The KI Bureau of the Universitas PGRI Madiun held a Research Workshop with Potential Patents online through a zoom meeting. The workshop brought two speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Budi Agus Riswandi, S.H., M.Hum, and Aswin Rosadi, S.Kom., M.T. The activity was attended by approximately 45 people and the majority of researchers came from lecturers in the UNIPMA environment.

The activity was opened by the Deputy Chancellor of UNIPMA, Dr. Dwi Setiyadi, M.M in his speech Dwi Setiyadi said that all participants can take advantage of this training.

"I hope that with the assistance of the resource persons on this occasion, the research at UNIPMA will increase the number of intellectual property rights and on this occasion we also hope that we both take advantage of this excellent opportunity," said Dwi Setiyadi.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Intellectual Property Bureau (HKI) UNIPMA, Dr. Darmadi, M.Pd. said that the role of the IPR Center in universities is very important in increasing the productivity of IPR, especially Patents.

"For this reason, we hold a workshop on IPR, but this workshop will help researchers how to make a patent until the application stage," said Darmadi.
