Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd., candidate for rector number 2 also said that his vision and mission still refers to the university's vision and mission. Because to determine the vision and mission is a joint work, not a personal thought. However, he said there were some things that would be worked out.

Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd in ​​the presentation of the vision, mission and work program said UNIPMA's vision is by 2033 to become an excellent university at the national level and produce graduates who are smart, competitive, and have entrepreneurial skills.

Its missions include providing education and teaching that is oriented towards the independence of students in developing their potential, conducting research to improve competence in the fields of science, technology, and art as well as downstreaming research results, carrying out community service in the form of the application of science, technology and art. As well as building sound institutional management in order to strengthen governance, transparency, and public image in order to become a superior and accountable higher education institution.

"Currently we have a problem in increasing research grants, so we have to make a clear research roadmap and increase the acquisition of research grant funds," said Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd.

It was also conveyed that Supri Wahyudi Utomo would prepare a plan to organize a good research grant preparation workshop with the aim of obtaining research grants in order to increase and increase business and industrial cooperation.

"For this reason, researchers conduct quality research, industry also opens up and gives trust, the government makes regulations that support the downstreaming of research results," added Supri Wahyudi Utomo.

He also explained the stages of UNIPMA's strategic goals, namely in 2017-2021 Acceleration of University autonomy and independence, in 2021-2025 Acceleration as a Research-Based PT, in 2025-2029 Acceleration as a center for science and technology development, and until 2029-2033 Acceleration become a superior PT at the national level.
