Tuesday, June 8, 2021. In connection with the selection of the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) by the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti), on Sunday (6/6/2021) the Directorate General of Higher Education announced the list of universities receiving PKKM government assistance for the 2021 fiscal year .

The Independent Campus Competition Program (PK-KM) is an open competition program. PK-KM can include study programs and programs at the institutional level that are prioritized for the Merdeka Campus management system or called the Institutional Support System (ISS).

Universitas PGRI Madiun participated in this competition and Alhamdulillah managed to qualify for funding from 2 study programs including Biology and Economics Education Study Program and entered into the league category 3. There are 142 Universities throughout Indonesia that have successfully passed their proposals and received funding from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education Culture, Research and Technology.

The head of the UNIPMA Independent Campus Competition Program Proposal Drafting Team (PKKM), Dr. Sardulo Gembong, M.Pd. said this achievement was the result of joint hard work to participate in realizing an independent campus and improving the quality of graduates and preparing for the adequacy of international accreditation in 2023.

For universities that have not received PKKM assistance on this occasion, they can participate in other government assistance programs of the Directorate General of Higher Education.
