As one of the prime private universities in East Java, IKIP PGRI MADIUN provided opportunities to study for its students by providing scholarships. The scholarships which were provided by IKIP PGRI MADIUN consisted of BIDIKMISI and TUITION-FREE Scholarship. BIDIKMISI was awarded to new students who had enrolled and passed the selection and verification of the Directorate General of Higher Education (DGHE). This verification was followed by a review to the residence of each of the applicants. IKIP PGRI MADIUN had recorded 28 applicants, but the Directorate General of Higher Education only gave 5 quotas to IKIP PGRI MADIUN. This scholarship covered the students’ cost of tuition and living expenses.

Besides BIDIKMISI, IKIP PGRI MADIUN also provided TUITION-FREE scholarship. This scholarship offered the students low nominal tuition fees. The admission and selection system for this scholarship were similar to BIDIKMISI, but it was verified by an internal team. The team had selected nine students to be granted.

The scholarship was given to 14 students ceremonially by the Chairman of PPLPT PGRI MADIUN, Drs. H. Imam Sujudi, on Thursday, August 20th, 2015 at Meeting Room 1 IKIP PGRI PGRI MADIUN.  It started at 09.00 and ended at 11.00 pm. It was attended by school representatives, parents and grantees.

The aims of this scholarship were to sort out potential students to study at university, and also accommodate students from low income families. Drs. H. Imam Sujudi said that he thanked the students who had been elected. He also said "You must have a good achievement and improve the quality of our beloved campus, and always develop and promote IKIP PGRI MADIUN”.
