Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Universitas PGRI Madiun collaborates through an MoU with BLK from Madiun City on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 09.30 WIB - 10.30 WIB in the Meeting Room Campus 1, PGRI Madiun University. This MoU was signed by the Rector of Universitas PGRI Madiun Prof. Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd. with the Head of BLK Kota Madiun. The meeting was attended by Universitas PGRI Madiun Rector Prof. Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd. accompanied by Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd. (Vice Rector IV), Drs. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd. (Vice Rector II), Dr. Dwi Setiyadi, M.M (Vice Rector I) Agita Risma Nurhikmawati, S.Hum., M.A. (Deputy Head of Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau) and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas PGRI Madiun and the Head of the Madiun City BLK and his staff.

The Rector of Universitas PGRI Madiun in his speech, said that it was very important to improve the soft skills of students so that they could develop. So that the graduates of the Universitas PGRI Madiun are no doubt about their abilities. Therefore, it is imperative that we collaborate with BLK from Madiun City. Because the campus does not only produce graduates, but also produces abilities and skills for students to be productive and competent in their fields.

The availability of competent Human Resources (HR) is one of the targets that must be achieved in national development, especially in the context of reducing the unemployment rate. That way, efforts need to be made to prepare a skilled and competent workforce, namely by following intense vocational training programs. In the MoU, there are two bound faculties, namely the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI Madiun.
