On Thursday, August 24^th, 2017, University of PGRI Madiun proudly submitted decree of Bidikmisi Scholarship and Free School Payment to outstanding students and undergraduates for academic year 2017/2018. Bidikmisi scholarships are given to as many as 10 new students, while the scholarship-free School Payment (from UNIPMA) is given to 7 new students who have good achievement in their learning. The bidikmisi scholarship was submitted by UNIPMA to the accredited Study Program B. In addition, University of PGRI Madiun also provided scholarships for new study programs, such as (chemical engineering, industrial engineering, and electrical engineering).

Both scholarships are given to students not for free, but there is a selection. The selection is done by a special selection team that directly dives into the field to survey how the economy of the prospective student. Moreover, not only the economic circumstances that becomes more important but there is also the achievements of new prospective students. "Hopefully they will become motivator, for others to get good achievement" Said Mr. Prio Sularsono, M.Pd. as the chairman of PKKMB. Students who get this scholarship should have moral responsibility and obligations that are embraced and active in organization activities. The risk that will be received if they not perform it well is at any time scholarship can be removed and moved to others for their competitors. So, both from the study program to the students will also monitor the progress of students achievements who get the scholarship.
