Developing Businesses in the Digital Era, UNIPMA Entrepreneurship Student Activity Unit Equips Students through Business Model Canvas Workshop
The Entrepreneurship Student Activity Unit (UKM KWU) of PGRI Madiun University (UNIPMA) held a workshop titled “Gen Z Innovation in Business Model Canvas: The Key to Success in the Digital Era” at Campus 1, 3rd Floor, Room A312-314, on Saturday (23/5). The activity aimed to equip students with the skills to design and develop business models in the digital era.
The workshop featured two speakers, namely Dimas Setiawan, S.Kom., M.Kom., CCC as the Business Model Canvas (BMC) presenter and Candra Pamungkas, S.Kom from CV. Pandawa Digital Media. The event was also attended by the advisor of UKM KWU, Dr. Farida Staningrum, S.Pd., M.Pd, along with UKM members and workshop participants.
Hani Rizki Fadhlurrahman, as the chief organizer, explained in an interview that the workshop discussed Generation Z innovations in building and developing business models relevant to current digital developments.
“This workshop was conducted through material presentations, discussions, experience sharing from the speakers, and direct product photography practice so that participants could better understand the implementation of the Business Model Canvas,” he said.
According to Hani, the activity aimed to broaden participants’ understanding of the Business Model Canvas concept, enhance the creativity and business innovation of the younger generation, and help students understand how to create effective and well-structured business models.
He added that the workshop was organized as an effort to address the lack of student understanding regarding business model planning, business innovation, and digital business development strategies in the modern era.
Through this activity, UKM KWU UNIPMA hopes students will be able to develop more structured business ideas and be prepared to face business challenges in the digital era.
