Healthy Walk and Student Bazaar Enliven UNIPMA’s 51st Anniversary Celebration

The 51st Anniversary of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) this year was not only filled with ceremonial activities. A healthy walk, student association (HMPS) and student organization (UKM) bazaars, as well as a flood of door prizes made the campus celebration more lively and full of enthusiasm on Saturday (23/5).

Carrying the theme “UNIPMA Excelling in Innovation, Impacting the Nation,” the event was attended by lecturers, educational staff, and students who crowded the Integrated Laboratory courtyard of UNIPMA since morning.

The healthy walk became the opening activity of the event series. Participants followed a route starting from the SMK Cendekia Field, passing through Letkol Suwarno Street, Kelapa Manis Street, Tanjung Raya Street, Setiabudi Street, returning to Letkol Suwarno Street, passing through the Integrated Laboratory Gate, and finishing at the field in front of SMK Cendekia.

In addition to exercising together, the student bazaar also enlivened the event. Various culinary products created by students were sold, ranging from traditional snacks to modern foods packaged in a more attractive way.

The atmosphere became even more festive during the door prize distribution. Participants enthusiastically waited for the prize draw while enjoying various entertainment performances prepared by the committee.

Not only that, the performance by the Lion Dance Group of TITD Hwie Ing Kiong from Madiun Temple also successfully attracted visitors’ attention. The energetic and entertaining lion dance performance made the anniversary celebration even more vibrant. Many participants were seen capturing the performance on their phones.

Through this activity, UNIPMA not only provided entertainment for the academic community but also encouraged a healthy lifestyle culture and entrepreneurial spirit among students. This concept aligns with this year’s anniversary theme, which emphasizes real work and contributions to society.

In addition, this activity also served as a form of campus support for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Impactful Campus Program from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek).

Amid the anniversary celebration, UNIPMA also brought proud achievements in academics. As of 2026, a total of 12 study programs have successfully achieved “Excellent” accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) and related independent accreditation institutions.

The three latest study programs to achieve the “Excellent” category are the Bachelor’s Program in Accounting Education, the Bachelor’s Program in English Education, and the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG). These achievements further strengthen UNIPMA’s position as a university that continues to grow in educational quality and human resource development.
