Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) successfully held Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities for the Independent Campus Competition Programme (PKKM) Grant in 2024. This activity took place over three days, from 31 October to 2 November 2023, to monitor the development of PKKM grants received by UNIPMA.

This monitoring was carried out by the Monev team from the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti), consisting of Dr. dr. Atik Choirul Hidajah M.Kes., Dr. Alhamuddin, M.Mpd., Inspectorate General Team, and PKKM Secretariat Team. This activity was attended by UNIPMA leaders, Vice Chancellors, PKKM grant taskforce heads, PICs implementing the Institutional Support System Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (ISS-MBKM) Programme and the Informatics Engineering Study Programme, as well as lecturers and students involved in the MBKM programme with grant funding.

Dr. Bambang Eko Hari Cahyono, M.Pd. (Vice Rector for Field III) said that as a recipient of PKKM grant funds for ISS-MBKM and the Informatics Engineering Study Program, UNIPMA has implemented the programme in accordance with the approved proposal. This Monev activity not only aims to evaluate the progress of the programme, but also to ensure that the PKKM grant has a positive impact on UNIPMA.

Dr. Wasilatul Murtafiah, S.Pd., M.Pd., as the Person in Charge and Chief Executive of ISS-MBKM Activities, explained that the Merdeka Campus Competition Programme (PKKM) is an assistance programme from the Directorate General of Higher Education which began to run since the signing of the funding contract in April 2024. 

‘The implementation of PKKM at UNIPMA involves Person In Charge (PIC) for each activity at ISS-MBKM and the Informatics Engineering Study Programme. In addition, this programme also collaborates with various partners to support off-campus learning activities, such as internships, independent student exchanges, entrepreneurship, and village projects,’ said Dr. Wasilatul Murtafiah, S.Pd., M.Pd. Monday, 05/11/2024, yesterday.
It is hoped that through this Monev activity, UNIPMA can increase the effectiveness of grant implementation so that MBKM activities can be carried out properly, and support the achievement of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of Higher Education in the future.
