Two UNIPMA Graduates with the Highest GPA Receive Scholarship Support from the Madiun City Government

UNIPMA — Two graduates of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) have received scholarship support from the Madiun City Government to pursue higher education. The recognition was presented directly by Acting Mayor of Madiun, Bagus Panuntun, during the second day of the 2026 Fifth Diploma III Graduation Ceremony and 19th Undergraduate and Postgraduate Graduation Ceremony at the Graha Cendekia Building, UNIPMA, on Saturday (31/10).

The two graduates are Aldhi Royan Nugraha, S.H., a graduate of the Faculty of Law with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.99, and Yourisea Headlin Pertiwi, S.Or., a graduate of the Faculty of Health and Science (FIKS) with a GPA of 3.93. Both achieved the highest GPAs in their respective study programs and are residents of Madiun City, as verified by their local identity cards.

In his remarks, Bagus Panuntun stated that the Madiun City Government prioritizes human resource development through the education and healthcare sectors. Supporting outstanding graduates is one of the local government's initiatives to encourage improvements in the quality of the younger generation.

“The city government's focus is on human resource development through education and healthcare. More than 56 percent of our budget is allocated to these sectors. Madiun City has no sea or forests, but we have excellent human resources as the backbone of the city,” he said.

The scholarship support for Aldhi and Yourisea represents the local government's appreciation of their academic achievements while encouraging them to continue their studies at a higher level. Their status as registered residents of Madiun City was also among the considerations in providing the support.

The synergy between UNIPMA and the Madiun City Government is also part of broader efforts to develop excellent human resources. Through local government support and the role of higher education institutions in providing education, graduates are expected to further develop their competencies and contribute to regional progress.

Bagus Panuntun emphasized that human resources are Madiun City's greatest strength. “Therefore, collaboration between the local government and educational institutions is essential to support the development of an accomplished younger generation capable of making a positive impact on society,” he concluded.
