UNIPMA and UiTM Malaysia Establish Strategic Collaboration for Human Resource Development through Faculty Mobility 

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has further expanded its international network by establishing a strategic collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia. Through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) held online on Wednesday, 30/10/2024, yesterday, the two universities committed to working together in developing human resources, technological innovation, and building synergies in various other fields.


The MoA signing event which took place through the Zoom platform was attended by leaders from both parties, including Dr Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd (UNIPMA Rector), Prof Dr Roshima Haji Said (UiTM Rector), Dr Jeffry Handika, M.Pd., M.Si (Vice Rector IV UNIPMA), Dr. Junaidi Ismail (Vice Rector for Academic Affairs UiTM), Sri Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd (Head of BKH UNIPMA), Mr. Azian Abdul Rahman (Head of Language Studies UiTM) as well as UNIPMA and UiTM lecturers.


In his remarks, Dr Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd said that this MoA was not just an administrative formality, but a symbol of trust and strong commitment to build strategic and beneficial cooperation for both institutions. ‘This document is meaningful for UNIPMA and UiTM to strengthen each other's position, achieve a common vision, and support better academic development in the future,’ he said.


The Rector of UiTM, represented by Dr Azlan, (Head of Language Studies) also expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration. According to him, this MoA is a great opportunity to build joint innovation, utilising the strengths of each institution in the field of education and research, and creating competent human resources to be ready to face global challenges.


The whole series of processions took place harmoniously, reflecting the commitment of the two universities to continue to deepen collaboration at the international level. Going forward, UNIPMA and UiTM are optimistic that this collaboration will not only enhance academic capabilities, but also open up new opportunities for innovation and relevant research in Southeast Asia.
