UNIPMA Together with 5 International Universities Holds Multidisciplinary Research Conference 

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) together with five universities successfully held an international conference entitled "Innovating for Sustainable Future Through Research and Collaboration ’ which lasted for two days, on 10-11 October 2024 with the organiser ISPSC Philippines. The conference was held online via Zoom Meeting and focused on multidisciplinary research discussions.

Universities involved in this activity include Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, New Era University Philippines, Malang State Polytechnic, Tan Trao University Vietnam, and The Education University (UPI). This activity is an important event for academics to share research results and establish cross-country collaborations in various fields of science.

The conference aims to encourage global innovation and collaboration, especially in creating a more sustainable future. With a focus on multidisciplinary research, this event is expected to make a real contribution to the development of science, both in the fields of education, technology, and the environment.

Keynote speaker, Dr Krishna R. Salin (Associate Professor and Program Chair Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Management, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand). In a session led by the host of ISPSC Philippines, Dr Krishna presented a number of materials according to the topic raised. The topics raised are very relevant to today's needs to develop technology that is environmentally friendly and supports global economic sustainability.

Seven UNIPMA lecturers from various study programmes participated in this activity, namely Management, Accounting, Tax Management, PGSD, Pharmacy, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering Education. The active participation of these lecturers shows UNIPMA's commitment to continue developing research and strengthening its international network.

Through this conference, not only was there an exchange of knowledge, but also opportunities for wider collaboration between universities. Hopefully, this kind of activity can continue to strengthen the role of higher education in answering global challenges through innovation and quality research.
