The Faculty of Engineering (FT) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a briefing for prospective alumni for the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year with the theme ‘Successful Strategies for Building Careers in the Digital Age.’ This activity took place yesterday on Tuesday, 24/09/2024, via Zoom Meeting and was broadcast live on YouTube Universitas PGRI Madiun.

The purpose of this debriefing is to prepare graduates to face the world of work with the knowledge gained during the lecture period. Hopefully, the alumni can apply their skills and knowledge to achieve success.

The event featured two speakers: Fadli Martin, S.Ikom (Head of Marketing & User Programs Department at BUMD Jakarta), and Restyono Ilham Saputra, S.Kom, (Ministry of Transportation Balai Pengelola Transportasi Kelas II Bali).

Fadli Martin shared material on career development methods in the digital era. Meanwhile, Restyono Ilham Saputra explained the importance of personal branding, especially in the government sector. 

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mrs Nasrul Rofiah Hidayati, S.T., M.Pd., attended the event along with lecturers and 119 prospective alumni students. In her speech, Mrs Nasrul Rofiah Hidayati, S.T., M.Pd., emphasised the importance of this briefing to provide new insights and energy for prospective alumni in strengthening their personal branding to be ready to face the challenges of the world of work and business.

‘Take the knowledge from the current alumni briefing material to further strengthen your personal branding so that you are ready and successful in entering the world of work and business,’ said Mrs Nasrul Rofiah Hidayati, S.T., M.Pd.

This briefing is expected to open insights, strengthen mentality, and encourage prospective alumni to become professionals with good personal branding in facing the challenges of the world of work.
