The Faculty of Law (FH) of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a briefing event for prospective alumni online on Monday, 23/09/2024, yesterday. This event was held via Zoom Meeting and broadcast live via YouTube Universitas PGRI Madiun. With the theme ‘Entering the World of Work as a Legal Professional’, this debriefing aims to provide insight and knowledge needed by prospective alumni in facing various challenges in the world of legal professionals.

The Dean of FH UNIPMA, Dr Siska Diana Sari, S.H., M.H, in her remarks expressed the hope that prospective alumni could open their horizons after attending this briefing. ‘We hope that after this event, prospective alumni students not only understand the dynamics of the world of work, but also get enlightened about the importance of professionalism and good integrity in the legal profession,’ she explained.

The event was attended by lecturers, two resource persons, and prospective alumni students in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The two speakers were Apt. Rochmad Agung Widodo, S.H., LL.M., (General Manager of Law of PT Industri Kereta Api Persero), and Adi Juwono, S.H., (Advocate and Legal Consultant). Both delivered material that is very relevant to the challenges and opportunities faced by prospective law graduates in the professional world.

In his presentation, Adi Juwono gave an insight into the world of advocacy and how to maintain professionalism and integrity as a lawyer. Meanwhile, Rochmad Agung emphasised the importance of understanding developing legal regulations and adaptability in the industrial sector.

Through this briefing, FH UNIPMA hopes that prospective alumni have a clearer picture of opportunities in the world of work, especially in the legal sector, and can prepare themselves well for a career professionally and with integrity.
