The entire academic community of Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) celebrated Eid al-Adha 10 Zulhijah 1445 H, on Monday, June 17, 2024, yesterday. This celebration was held on campus 1 of the university with the slaughter of sacrificial animals.

The event was attended by lecturers, employees, and student representatives. joy was seen on the faces of the entire UNIPMA academic community, with the spirit of togetherness they worked together from slaughtering to distributing sacrificial animals. This holiday is a moment to share with others and increase the sense of solidarity in the campus environment.

Eid al-Adha is a feast day in Islam. This day commemorates the event of sacrifice, when Prophet Ibrahim was willing to sacrifice his son Isma'il as a form of obedience to Allah SWT. Before Ibrahim sacrificed his son, Allah Swt replaced Ismail with a sheep.

The celebration of Eid al-Adha at Universitas PGRI Madiun is not only a form of gratitude for the blessings given, but also a form of commitment to maintaining religious and humanitarian values.
