Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) held a series of events to commemorate National Awakening Day and Swadesi Week 2024. The event began with a flag ceremony which was attended by all UNIPMA lecturers and employees in the north yard of the Integrated Laboratory, Monday, 20/05/2024, yesterday .

The ceremony participants looked harmonious wearing the latest batik, reflecting the spirit of nationalism and pride in local culture. Apart from ceremonies, National Awakening Day and batik, the highlight of this celebration is the implementation of Swadesi Week.

For three days, from Monday to Wednesday, the entire UNIPMA academic community wore free batik clothing. Swadesi Week is an annual program that aims to promote local products and strengthen awareness of the importance of supporting domestic industry.

With activities like this, UNIPMA hopes to participate in preserving local culture and driving the national economy through support for domestic products.
