Forum Discussion on Common Sense at Universitas PGRI Madiun: Addressing the Polemics Uncertainty in Indonesias Education System 

As part of the 9th Anniversary celebration Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), efforts were made to address the "Polemic of Uncertainty in Indonesia's Education System" through a Common Sense Forum Discussion held at Graha Cendekia on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Moderated by Dikki Akhmar (Chairman of the Common Sense Forum Discussion Indonesia), the discussion was attended by 700 participants, including lecturers, students, and the general public. The event featured sharp insights from Rocky Gerung (Philosophy Expert and Political Observer), as well as profound experiences shared by Prof. Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd (Professor at Universitas PGRI Madiun).

Before the event commenced, Dr. Elva Nuraina, SE., M.Si (Vice Rector for Academic Affairs), delivered opening remarks. She also informed the speakers and participants that the Rector UNIPMA, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd, was unable to attend due to duties in Jakarta.

True to his style, Rocky Gerung delivered his material to the participants with sharp criticism. Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd, shared his experiences and insights to highlight ways to improve the condition of education in Indonesia.

Dikki Akhmar, as the moderator, provided participants with the opportunity to actively participate in Q&A sessions regarding various educational issues, including curriculum, access, and challenges in Indonesia.

The Common Sense Forum Discussion organized by Universitas PGRI provided a much-needed platform for reflection on the future of education in Indonesia. By involving prominent speakers like Rocky Gerung and Prof. Dr. H. Parji, M.Pd, and with careful moderation by Dikki Akhmar, the event not only identified existing problems but also offered concrete and progressive solutions.
