Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has conducted rigorous selection for new faculty members to ensure that the quality of teaching provided is of the highest standard for students. In this selection process, 8 prospective faculty members underwent a series of tests, including general aptitude tests, psychology tests, TOEFL-Like English language tests, and interviews.

Dr. Fitra Pinandhita, M.Pd., who was entrusted by the institution to oversee the English language tests, explained that this selection process serves as an important means of choosing quality faculty members to join UNIPMA.

"The series  English language tests are administered because prospective UNIPMA faculty members must be prepared to teach in English according to their expertise. As information, UNIPMA is now going international, with students from abroad participating in the International Credit Transfer program," said Dr. Fitra Pinandhita, M.Pd., in an interview on Monday, May 6, 2024.

The English language test was conducted at the Language Development Center (P2B) and carried out in two periods. The first period took place on April 30, 2024, with 5 prospective faculty members undergoing the test, while the second period was held on May 6, 2024, involving 3 prospective faculty members.

It is hoped that the selected faculty members from this selection process will be able to make valuable contributions to the field of education and help UNIPMA become a center of quality and competitive learning at both the national and international levels.
