UNIPMA and NEUST Visit Madiun City Police 

Madiun City Police received honours from UNIPMA (PGRI Madiun University) and NEUST (Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology) in the Lecture Exchange, Research and Collaboration event on Tuesday (30/4/2024) at the Madiun City Police Hall, East Java.

The delegation consisted of 15 members from related university partner institutions, including lecturers and students from the Faculty of Law, Universitas PGRI Madiun and the Faculty of Criminology, Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology. Also present were key officials from the Madiun City Police and Sector Police Chiefs.

This visit aims to strengthen the field of research and cultural exchange between related university partner institutions.

AKBP Agus Dwi Suryanto, SIK., MH., Madiun City Police Chief, expressed his appreciation for the visit from UNIPMA and NEUST from the Philippines to Madiun City Police. "We welcome the visit from UNIPMA and NEUST to the Madiun City Police," he said.

Through this visit, it is hoped that it can increase understanding of the duties and role of the police in society. Apart from that, this visit also provided students with a broader insight into the security system and law enforcement.

"Students can maximize this opportunity to directly discuss matters related to security and law that they want to know more about with police officers," he added.

During the visit and discussion, the visiting participants expressed their excitement and hope for the great benefits that students could gain in understanding the role of the police in society and the importance of law enforcement.

They also emphasized that direct interaction with police officers can strengthen relations between the police and the community, including academic circles such as students.
