PKM UNIPMA Secures Funding from Ministry Education and Culture

Universitas PGRI Madiun once again achieves pride with the approval of the 2024 Student Creativity Program (PKM) proposal, securing funding from the Directorate General of Learning Resources and Science, Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbudristek). This accomplishment showcases Universitas PGRI Madiun's consistency and success in disseminating knowledge, technology, and arts.

According to a report from the Student Affairs Bureau (BKM) to the UNIPMA Public Relations team, no official rankings were released after the news from the Directorate General of Learning Resources and Science, Ministry of Education and Culture was received. The submitted proposal data covered 8 fields and 2 incentive proposals.

Dr. Elva Nuraina, S.E.,M.Si, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Accreditation, expressed her gratitude for the success achieved by the UNIPMA PKM team. "Thanks to the hard work of students, supervising lecturers, BKM, heads of study programs, and all elements that have supported student achievements, especially PKM," she said on Friday, April 26, 2024. Dr. Elva Nuraina, S.E.,M.Si added that PKM funding needs to be consistently pursued to ensure a far greater number of approvals each year.

She also explained that PKM activities not only reflect student achievement but also provide added value for them. Through PKM, students not only gain practical experience in completing their projects but also are trained in self-management and organizing group activities. "When students have gained such learning experiences, they surely have added value compared to students who have never participated in PKM," she continued.

The practical hope of PKM is to save the achievements of national-level student academics, while normatively it is to train students to solve problems scientifically and overcome challenges to win funding from the ministry.

"Completing the written reports and outcomes outlined in the proposal as best as possible to qualify for the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) and inspire potential proposing teams in the following year," she concluded.

The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is an activity to improve the quality of students in higher education so that they can become members of society with academic and professional abilities who can apply, develop, and disseminate knowledge, and technology, and enrich national culture.

The Requirements to Participate in PKM are as Follows:
