UNIPMA Hosts Wikipedia and Blogspot Workshop, Dr. Jeffry: Alumni Will Stay Connected with the Campus

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA) has successfully organized a workshop on utilizing Wikipedia and Blogspot. The online event, organized by the Central Bureau of Career Development and Counseling Services (P2KLK), was attended by UNIPMA alumni and prospective alumni to guide filling out tracer study questionnaires and create Wikipedia and Blogspot pages.

The workshop was attended by all UNIPMA alumni cohorts as well as students who will soon graduate in the 14th graduation ceremony. As the main speaker, Gilang Primayoga, S.Kom, Head of the Information Systems and Networking Bureau (SIJ) of UNIPMA, provided in-depth explanations on how to fill out tracer study questionnaires and the steps to create Wikipedia and Blogspot pages.

This activity was held as part of career development efforts, aiming to fulfil graduation requirements. Therefore, prospective alumni students are required to fill out tracer study questionnaires and create Wikipedia and Blogspot pages. This is intended to facilitate the university in tracking alumni's whereabouts, which is one of the crucial aspects of supporting accreditation.

Dr. Jeffry Handhika, M.Pd., M.Si, Vice-Rector for Division IV of UNIPMA Madiun, emphasized the importance of having Wikipedia and Blogspot pages for alumni. According to him, with these pages, alumni will find it easier to access information and stay connected with the campus. "By creating Wikipedia and Blogspot pages, we hope that alumni can stay connected digitally and communicate with the campus," he said.

The participants' enthusiasm was evident. According to data received by the Public Relations team, participation reached 300 people in this activity. The Wikipedia and Blogspot creation workshop at UNIPMA is expected to lay a strong foundation in strengthening the relationship between the university and its alumni.
