Universitas PGRI Madiun takes the lead in enriching the initiation of international collaboration efforts. The event, held in the Rectorate Meeting Room UNIPMA on Monday, April 29, 2024, was attended by the partner institutions of Universitas PGRI Madiun, namely Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology Philippines (NUEST), and PGRI higher education institutions from East Java such as STKIP PGRI Pacitan, STKIP PGRI Nganjuk, STKIP PGRI Trenggalek, Bhinneka PGRI University Tulungagung, and STKIP PGRI Ponorogo.

The presence of several campuses in East Java marks the beginning of a collaboration aimed at enhancing learning at the higher education level. The initiation of collaboration activities began with warm remarks from the Rector Universitas PGRI Madiun, Dr. Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd, who welcomed the guests with gratitude and emphasized the purpose of this collaboration initiative.

"I express my gratitude to everyone. Hopefully, this collaboration initiative can enrich cooperation in building a dynamic learning environment, starting from teaching models to developing online and offline learning methods," said Dr Supri Wahyudi Utomo, M.Pd in his address.

After the remarks, the event continued with a presentation of the collaboration profile Universitas PGRI Madiun by Sri Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd. She provided a comprehensive overview of the achievements and collaborations that Universitas PGRI Madiun has undertaken. One highlight showcased was the collaboration between UNIPMA and international partner institutions such as NUEST, ISATU, Politeknik Malaysia, UiTM, MMSU, ISPSC, CMU, and others.

Subsequently, the event proceeded with a discussion session. Each attending higher education institution presented their respective profiles. This session was lively, as each institution shares the same hope for tangible positive progress.

The highest hope in this collaboration initiation is for tangible actions and not mere rhetoric. Everyone appears earnest in their aspirations for the planned inter-institutional collaboration. This collaboration is expected to bring significant benefits to the development of criminology knowledge in these regions, as well as to create opportunities for beneficial knowledge and experience exchange for students and academics. With the same spirit, the involved parties are preparing to strengthen cross-institutional cooperation networks for the advancement of education and research in Indonesia.
