Prof. Parji from UNIPMA and Madiun Mayor H. Maidi Attend Madiun City School Committee Coordination Meeting
Monday, October 30 2023 at the Madiun City Haji Dormitory, a Madiun City School Committee coordination meeting was held which was attended by committee representatives in various schools such as parents of students from elementary school (SD), junior high school (SMP) and school levels. Upper Secondary or Vocational School (SMA/SMK) in Madiun City.
The event was attended by Prof. Parji from Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), Mayor of Madiun H. Maidi, as well as representatives from Principals and Chairs of School Committees throughout Madiun City.
The theme of this meeting is "Strengthening School Committees for Quality Madiun City Education in the Digital Era." In this event, Prof. Parji from UNIPMA and the Mayor of Madiun, H. Maidi, expressed their respective views regarding school committees in facing the challenges of the digital era and how to develop quality education in Madiun City.
In the coordination meeting, Prof. Parji delivered a presentation on creative thinking in facing the challenges of the digital era, the importance of collaboration between schools, and managing the negative impacts of the digital era such as cyberbullying and verbal violence in schools.
Prof. Parji also added the theme of comparing the world of education in Indonesia with abroad such as Singapore, Japan and South Korea. By depicting these insights, it is hoped that the world of education in Indonesia, especially Madiun, will be more advanced.
Ending his presentation, Prof. Parji invited all participants in the coordination meeting to work together to face the challenges of the digital era and improve the quality of education in Madiun City and its surroundings. He also provides the key to success for children by including ethics and friendly cooperation.
Then Mayor Madiun, H. Maidi delivered a presentation with the theme "Progress the City of Madiun" covering aspects including infrastructure development, improving the quality of education, caring for the elderly and developing transportation.
In his presentation, H. Maidi invited the public to participate together in the progress of Madiun City. He will help send underprivileged students to school and distribute free laptops so they can study fully with proper facilities.
In the closing session of the coordination meeting, the committee hopes that this event will provide benefits in efforts to improve the quality of education in Madiun City and its surroundings.
