Guest Lecture on PAUD Teacher Education Study Program Reveals Able to Go International 

Thursday, 4 May 2023 Faculty of Education Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program (PG PAUD) Universitas PGRI Madiun has conducted a Visiting Lecturer by visiting Lecturers from NEUST (Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology).

The event took place in the UNIPMA PAUD Teacher Education Model Classroom, with one presenter Alfredo M. Esteban Jr from NEUST Philippines. The guest lecture session was also attended by PG PAUD students in semesters two, four, six, and eight, not to forget the PG PAUD Lecturers namely Dian Ratnaningtyas Afifah, M.Psi., Psychologist, Dr. Alisa Alfina, M.Pd. and Dr. Rosyida Nurul Anwar, M.Pd.I.

The opening of guest lecture was opened with opening words and then welcome remarks from the Head of the PG PAUD Study Program, Dian Ratnaningtyas Afifah, M.Psi., Psi. In his remarks, the Head of the PG PAUD Study Program hoped that students would get new insights into how to teach English in early childhood.

This guest lecture was carried out as usual, but what was extraordinary was that they were guided directly by a teacher from NEUST Philippines. It can be seen that PG PAUD students were also given the task of presenting the future to show the results of their assignments.

As the name suggests, this program is specifically for future PAUD teacher candidates (UNIPMA graduates) to provide learning about the importance of English from an early age.

"We, PG PAUD Education, stated that they are ready to answer the needs of PAUD institutions that require English language learning for early childhood." Said Mrs. Dian Ratnaningtyas Afifah, M.Psi.

The importance of this collaboration between NEUST and UNIPMA is the exchange of insights. With the aim of further expanding future relationships for learning matters. Moreover, the PAUD teacher is a teacher who will play an important role in shaping the character of children.

Then, the Visiting Lecturer closed with an art performance of the Rampak Dance which was carried out as a demonstration of Indonesia's wealth.
